NTS Glenfinnan visitor centre in Glenfinnan

The National trust for Scotland visitor centre is worthy of a visit when you are in Glenfinnan or driving through on your way to the Isle of Skye ferry at Mallaig.

Built to tell the story of the Jacobite Rising when the Clan Cameron met Bonnie Prince Charlie to raise their standard and march on London, the centre has lots of information and an amazing monument at the head of Loch Shiel.

The centre has a cafe and rest room facilities as well as a good bookshop. There is a large car park and a short walk around the lochside to enjoy too. Across the loch you'll see the Glenfinnan House Hotel which is a great place to stay and where you will get a warm welcome. Good food and a marvellous wedding venue.
